Manchester United captain Gary Neville was pleased to start in last night's victory over Aston Villa.

"Villa did really well throughout the game and made things difficult for us," the fullback said. "I struggled physically in the first half having not played for a couple of months and I found it really tough. But I got a lot better as the game went on."
