Man Utd skipper Neville finding form at right time

Former Manchester United fullback Arthur Albiston has paid tribute to captain Gary Neville.

"He's priceless," Albiston told manutd.com. "He has been struggling with injuries for the past 18 months, but his experience will be crucial. And the great thing is he's finding his form with half the season still to go."

Albiston himself made almost 500 appearances for United and he believes that despite his recent problems, Neville still has much to offer at Old Trafford.

"The problem is as you get older, you pick up more little niggles, and these can lead to frustrating injuries," he says. "I've seen him play in the Reserves, but what he really needed was to get a run of first-team games under his belt.

"You can't get the sharpness you need in the Reserves, you need to be out there playing in front of 75,000 people in a match that really matters. Against Chelsea, I thought he showed signs that he was getting back to somewhere near his best."
