Manchester United signing Luke Shaw will be England's No1 left-back for the Euro2016 qualifiers.
The People says Shaw traveled to the World Cup as back-up for Leighton Baines - but the Everton man did not live up to expectations in Brazil and can expect to see himself overtaken in the pecking order for Euro 2016 qualifying.
Shaw, 18, has just completed a £30million move to Manchester United and Roy Hodgson expects him to fulfil his potential at Old Trafford.
As long as he is a regular in the United side he will replace Baines in the England starting line-up from the very next game against Switzerland.
