New Manchester United signing Manucho Goncalves is set to kickoff his European career with Greek giants Panathinaikos.

Manucho's father, Alberto, has confirmed to Sport Day that the two clubs have been in talks about the Angola international spending the second-half of the season in Athens.

Panathinaikos coach Jose Peseiro is close to United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz and Goncalves Snr says there is a deal in place.
