Manchester United signing Memphis Depay had paid tribute to PSV Eindhoven strikers coach Luc Nilis.

Despite being a winger, Depay won the Eredivisie Golden Boot this season - which he credits to the influence of Nilis.

"He had and still has a fantastic shot.

"In finishing and free kicks I really improved because I was able to work with him (Nilis)," said Depay.

Nilis has past experience in England, playing for Aston Villa.
