Manchester United bound youngster Bruno Gomes has kick-started Desportivo Brasil's Copa Sao Paulo campaign with their opening goal in a 4-1 win over America-RN.
Fresh from his exploits in Brazil's national Under 17 Championship where his 27 goals won him the Golden Boot, the 16 year old had no problem continuing his free scoring ways despite the step up in age level to what is an Under 20 tournament.
The Copinha, as it is nicknamed is considered Brazil's premier youth tournament and has previously showcased the talents of players such as Neymar, Oscar and Lucas Moura.
Gomes has an agreement to join the Red Devils when he turns 18 in 2014.
