Man Utd sign regional partnership deal in Thailand

Manchester United have announced a new regional partnership with Thai telecommunications company True Corporation Plc, reports www.sportspromedia.com/. The three-year deal sees the firm's TrueMove H mobile brand become United's official mobile partner in Thailand, while TrueVisions, True Group's pay-TV operator, will be the official carrier of MUTV in the Asian country.

Additionally, True will sponsor United's upcoming friendly against a Singha All Star XI in Bangkok. The match, which takes place on 13th July, will be played as part of the first stop on the club's 2013 summer tour, which also takes in Australia, Japan, Hong Kong and Sweden.

Financial terms of True's agreement were not released, however regional partnerships with Manchester United are estimated to cost between £1 million and £2 million a year.
