Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was philosophical after a goalless draw at Aston Villa. Both Chelsea and Liverpool drew earlier on but Ferguson told Setanta Sports: "We are capable of going on runs as everyone knows. If we got to within two points or three points by New Year's Day it would give us a great chance."
The Reds trail Chelsea and Liverpool by eight points but have a game in hand.
He said: "Arsenal have got too much quality to say that. You can't rule Aston Villa out of staying in the top four, they've got a very organised side and teams will find it difficult coming here."
