Trabzonspor midfielder Abdul Majeed Waris is a target for Manchester United. The Mirror says United assistant manager Ryan Giggs is understood to have flown to Turkey on Thursday to watch Waris in action for his side Trabzonspor against Lokeren in the Europa League.
Waris, 23, joined Trabzonspor from Spartak Moscow in September. And he bagged nine goals in 16 games on loan at French side Valenciennes last season.
The African ace was also the top scorer in Swedish league football with BK Hacken in 2012 and is highly regarded in Europe.
He has lived in the UK before, turning out for Forest Green Rovers reserves while he was a student.
