Manchester United are seeking to renew their past relationship with Sporting Lisbon.
A Bola says United officials have been regular visitors to Sporting this season - both at games and to attend the club's training facilities.
United in the past have enjoyed a close collaboration with Sporting, which has seen Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani move to Old Trafford.
