Manchester United are monitoring Hugo Lloris' situation at Tottenham. The Daily Star Sunday says Lloris will be a target for Man United next summer - if they lose David de Gea to Real Madrid.
The La Liga giants want Spanish stopper De Gea, 23, as a £30million replacement for unsettled No.1 Iker Casillas.
And it seems likely the one-time Atletico Madrid starlet will try to force that move through should United fail to qualify for next season's Champions League.
That is why Old Trafford boss Louis van Gaal is compiling a list of potential world-class successors to De Gea, 24.
And French ace Lloris, 27, heads the Dutchman's list of candidates.
