Manchester United season ticket holders will receive a message from sacked manager David Moyes this week.
The Daily Mail says United's 55,000 season-ticket holders will receive a shock in their renewal packs being sent out this week - a letter from Moyes encouraging them to keep their seats.
And, to add to the club's embarrassment over the timing, the literature, including a picture of the departed Moyes, is titled 'United' when the team are anything but.
The final rubber-stamping of the decision to axe Moyes, made on Monday evening, came too late to change any documents in the season- ticket pack or the timing of posting them.
