Manchester United remain keen on Atletico Madrid goalkeeper David De Gea.

The youngster is a top target for United boss Sir Alex Ferguson as he considers the Spaniard as a successor for the retiring Edwin van der Sar.

AS says Ferguson posted scouts to see De Gea in action on December 19 for Atletico's 3-0 victory over Malaga.

During the 90 minutes, De Gea kept a cleansheet thanks to three wonder saves - all performed in front of watching United scouts.
