Manchester United are weighing up a move for Bordeaux defender Pablo for January.
United boss Jose Mourinho is eager to find a new centre-half signing next month and has made Napoli stopper Kalidou Koulibaly a priority.
However, with Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis reluctant to lose the Senegalese, alternatives are being put to Mourinho.
And the latest is Pablo, says Fox Sports.
The 27 year-old Brazilian has emerged as a hot property ahead of the winter market, with Chelsea, Arsenal and AC Milan also watching developments.
Pablo's deal runs to 2021 and does not carry a buyout clause.
