Manchester United have joined Arsenal in their interest for Fiorentina contract rebel Riccardo Montolivo. Montolivo is off contract in June and refuses to consider signing a new deal with the Viola.
Fiorentina are inviting offers for Montolivo ahead of the January market and would prefer to sell him to a foreign club, despite the interest of AC Milan.
Calciomercato.com says United scouts joined Arsenal reps in the stands to see Montolivo in action last night against Northern Ireland.
Interestingly, former United midfielder Corry Evans, now of Hull City, swapped shirts with Montolivo at the final whistle.
