Manchester United had scouts check on Udinese star Alexis Sanchez last night in action against Werder Bremen.
Chilean sources say Sanchez's minders expected United scouts to be present for the UEFA Cup clash.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is a big fan of Sanchez and Santiago reports say he'd be willing to go as high as £16 million for the winger.
