Newcastle United are believed to be interested in Manchester United youngster James Wilson.

The Daily Star suggests that the Magpies want to take the 19-year old striker on a season-long loan on the summer.

Wilson has played 15 times for the Red Devils this season and Louis van Gaal is keen to develop him further in a first team environment next term.

It has been suggested that Wilson will put pen to a new contract at Old Trafford before he potentially links up with Newcastle.
