Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic says he will not have any contact with fellow Serbians Aleksandar Kolarov and Matija Nastasic ahead of Monday's meeting with neighbours Manchester City.
The centre-back is preparing for what could be United's title-clinching fixture at Old Trafford early next week and has placed a self-imposed ban on himself so he does not speak with his national teammates.
"I never speak with an opponent before a game," Vidic told reporters.
"I am good friends Kolarov and Nastasic but I don't like to talk. I like to go there and do it.
"On game day I think about the game; I don't waste energy before the game starts, otherwise you end up tired."
