Man Utd's Scholes aware of dangerous Marseille

Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes knows very well the dangers of a team such as Olympique Marseille in the Champions League.

United meet OM at Stade Velodrome in the south of France on Wednesday, February 23 in the first leg of their Round of 16 contest and veteran Scholes is treading cautiously of a team who sits third in the French Ligue 1 and boasts a playing list which comprises the likes of Andre-Pierre Gignac, Mathieu Valbuena, Lucho Gonzalez, Loic Remy, Andre Ayew, Gabriel Heinze and Steve Mandanda to name but a few.

"Marseille won't be easy. It's a tough place. We played there before quite a few years ago and got beaten," Scholes said.

"But we are looking forward to it. Hopefully it is the start of a good end to the season for us and we can go all the way to the final again and win it."
