England manager Fabio Capello feels that Wayne Rooney is currently in top form and feeling 'happy'.
The Manchester United striker was maligned for his performances at the 2010 World Cup for the England team but Capello feels his presence so far in Euro2012 qualifying has been paramount to the teams almost successful pursuit of making it to Poland and Ukraine.
"Rooney is happy," he said.
"In qualification for the World Cup he was the same as he is now.
"But he didn't have an easy time and wasn't in good form. It was different.
"For forwards, goals are like a drug and at this moment, Rooney is in top form."
