Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney says he is set to play for England in Wednesday's international friendly against Egypt.
The in-form goalscorer sustained a knock to his knee in Sunday's Carling Cup triumph over Aston Villa but scans showed that should be fine for the international.
"Yes it's okay, I went for a scan today and it's just a bit of bruising," he said.
"So I'm having a bit of a rest day today, I should train tomorrow and should play on Wednesday."
