Manchester United and England captain Wayne Rooney has ruled out a future move to Italy.
As Rooney and the Three Lions prepare to meet the Azzurri in a friendly in Turin on Tuesday night, the forward was asked by reporters if he was a fan of Italian football.
Rooney admitted he was a big admirer of Argentine and Fiorentina great Gabriel Batistuta but indicated he would probably never leave England's top flight to play Serie A.
He said: "I love playing in the Premier League. I used to watch Batistuta for Fiorentina but don't think I'd play in Italy."
