Wayne Rooney feels England coped well with the pressure that came with qualifying for the 2014 World Cup.
The Three Lions are into the finals of Brazil 2014 after beating Poland 2-0 on Tuesday night to finish top of Group H, one point ahead of Ukraine.
Rooney, who scored the first-half opener in London, said England deserve to be where they are after producing a record of six wins and four draws from 10 qualifying matches.
"We're all delighted with the victory and to have qualified. It was a good group but that is 10 games unbeaten," Rooney told Sky Sports.
"I think particularly in the last two games (plus Friday's 4-1 win over Montenegro) we have played some really good stuff and again tonight, so we deserved the victory.
"The last two games were always going to be pressure games. We needed six points but we've dealt with that and put in two good performances."
He added: "It's been a good qualifying campaign for myself and hopefully that will continue, but the important thing is we've qualified."
