Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is capable of turning a game like Eric Cantona and Paul Gascoigne have done before him.
They are the sentiments of former star midfielder Paul Ince who is of the belief that the much-maligned 24-year old can change things in the blink of an eye.
"Rooney is one of those players who might not play well for 89 minutes then wins you the game in injury time. I've seen it with Cantona at United, I've seen it with Gazza for England," Ince said.
"Players that even during a bad spell can still produce a moment of magic.
"That's why you can't think of him like the average player. You don't drop people like that. You rest them.
"You don't drop Frank Lampard, you don't drop John Terry. They can do things for you at certain times - and Wayne Rooney is right up there in the top three players in the world."
