Man Utd’s Ronaldo named FIFA World Player of the Year
Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo has been crowned the FIFA World Player of the Year for 2008.
Ronaldo was presented with the award at a ceremony in Zurich and adds it to other individual honours he has received due to his brilliant 2007/2008 season in which he scored 42 goals.
The Portuguese star has already scooped the FIFPro World Player of the Year and the Ballon d’Or award and becomes the first player from the English Premier League to take the award.

C.Ronaldo is a potential winner of this special award. It's not an easy task to score 42 goals in all competition last season, C.Ronaldo is a great player but it should not let that get into his head. Up chelsea !!!

I've got a question to all Ronaldo haters, if you hate him so much, and thinks hes garbage, how come he is playing professional football and your not?
