Man Utd's Rashford 'deceived' referee with penalty

Swansea boss Paul Clement told Sky Sports that Manchester United's Marcus Rashford feigned contact to create the penalty that brought about the game's opening goal.

With the tie seemingly heading into the tunnels at 0-0, Rashford was brought down by Swansea's Lukasz Fabianski inside the box on the stroke of halftime. However, Clement believes Rashford initiated the contact.

"Replays show that the player deceived the referee," he said, "There's no other way to look at it"

"You could say he's dangled a leg to get the contact, but he's down before that. He's down before there's any kind of contact.

"The keeper pulled out of it."

Gylfi Sigurdsson's equalizer with ten minutes remaining ensured Clement that he would not feel completely cheated on the day.
