Manchester United manager David Moyes was thrilled for Jesse Lingard following his four-goal debut for Birmingham City on Saturday.
The 20-year old, on a one-month loan at St Andrews from Old Trafford, produced a sublime performance to net all four of Birmingham's goals in their 4-1 triumph over Sheffield Wednesday and manager Lee Clark said Moyes was a happy man.
"I sent a text to David Moyes after the game Saturday," Clark told the Birmingham Mail. "I see by the television footage that he was at The Hawthorns.
"He just replied saying he was delighted for the lad."
