Man Utd's Hargreaves had faith he would recover

Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves admits he has kept the faith during his time out with a serious knee injury.

The 28-year old has missed for months due to a severe case of tendinitis but is now convinced he has come through the other side of a truly dark time.

"I feel I can see light at the end of the tunnel," the former Bayern Munich man said.

"I am coming back for good, not for a week or two. I am coming back to have a massive effect and for us to win titles.

"I cannot wait to walk out at Old Trafford. I want to get back as soon as I can but it is not about getting back for one game or for one day. I want to come back and be back for another six or eight years."
