Manchester United interim boss Ryan Giggs has heaped praise on Nemanja Vidic following his final match at Old Trafford.
The Serbian defender, who joined United in 2006, played his last home game for the club in Tuesday night's 3-1 win over Hull City after replacing the injured Phil Jones in the 22nd minute.
Vidic is set to join Inter Milan in the summer which will bring to an end an extremely successful career with the Red Devils which saw him play an integral role in five Premier League titles, one Champions League trophy, a FIFA Club World Cup and three League Cups.
Giggs spoke highly of Vidic after the match, telling Sky Sports: "He has been a brilliant player for us and a brilliant defender.
"He has shared so much success with the lads in the dressing room, it is a big moment for him.
"He goes with our good wishes and hopefully he does well."
