Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher is again ill after being struck down by tonsillitis.
The Scotland captain was sidelined for months last season because of a stomach virus but it appeared as though he had gotten things back on track.
However, the Scottish Football Association indicated today that Fletcher may have to withdraw from this weekend's Euro2012 clash with Lichtenstein and Tuesday's meeting with Spain.
"Darren Fletcher is suffering from tonsillitis in Manchester but will be assessed by club and Scotland medical staff on daily basis, read a statement on the SFA official website.
