Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson says he has no regrets over the departure of striker Carlos Tevez to Manchester City despite him scoring both goals in the Red Devils' Carling Cup semi-final first leg loss.
Tevez scored a double after Ryan Giggs had put United in front in the 17th minute and although Ferguson admits the Argentine came back to 'bite' his old club, did not rue the decision to let him leave last summer.
"That's just the way it happens," said Fergie. "It can be like that. It can bite you.
"We've had a few players leave the club and score against us. It's not an issue. I'm happy with the players we have.
"It will be a Manchester United crowd at Old Trafford in a week's time for the second leg and with the occasion and what's at stake we'll be okay."
