Man Utd's Ferguson excited by attacking prowess of Kagawa

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is looking forward to deploying Shinji Kagawa in a very attacking position.

The Japanese midfielder joined the Red Devils from Borussia Dortmiund last month and Ferguson is hoping he, along with fellow new signing Nick Powell, can provide plenty going forward at Old Trafford.

"He'll play further forward [than Powell]. We shouldn't be looking at one player changing the way we play but he could make a difference," said Ferguson.

"He can give us that extra in the final third of the field. If his goalscoring record continues he could be a very good player for us."
