Chelsea are again the team to beat if you want to win the title according to Manchester United's Sir Alex Ferguson. The Red Devils boss is of firm belief that the Blues hold the key to taking out this season's Premiership but knows it is a very long season and anything can happen.
"I think Chelsea chose the calendar themselves," said the Scotsman. "They've had a quite amazing start to the season. But they finished last season scoring a lot of goals against weaker teams and have continued that way.
"You still have to beat those teams, and Chelsea done that in quite a strong fashion. Anyone who wins the league will have to finish above them. The previous winners always deserve respect, because the Premier League is a difficult league.
"It's still too early to make strong predictions."
But one thing Ferguson could predict was that his United side would be right up there along with Chelsea and Arsenal come seasons end.
"Ourselves, Arsenal and Chelsea have started reasonably well and will all be there at the end of the season," he added.
