Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson was remaining calm after his side suffered shock loss at the hands of Turkish club Besiktas in the Champions League.
The Red Devils were defeated at Old Trafford by a Rodrigo Tello goal but Ferguson said he was not to perturbed as it was a good learning curve for some of his younger players.
"I think we were a bit anxious but it's not a bad thing - they're young and you expect them to make mistakes," he told ITV1.
"It was a stellar performance in terms of the flow of the game. We've shown some really good things tonight and that's encouraging but at the end of the day we just didn't get the result we needed."
United need one point when they face Wolfsburg away to finish top of their group and Ferguson said he would most likely again use an inexperienced line-up to tackle the Germans.
"We'll see how our programme is going at the time but I'd be confident in these players," Ferguson added.
