Manchester United centre-half Rio Ferdinand is expected to return to the line-up for this weekend's all-important clash with Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
The Red Devils desperately need to win to keep themselves in the title race and hope Chelsea slip up at Liverpool and they have been given a boost by the fact that Ferdinand should be back in action.
The England skipper has been out for the past two matches because of a groin strain which adds to his long run of injuries this season, causing him to miss a high percentage of matches.
But the 31-year old should be right for the trip to Sunderland as United keep their dreams of a fourth-successice Premiership alive.
