Man Utd's Diouf and Schalke's Jones remaining on Blackburn radar

Blackburn Rovers will look into how they can get loanees Mame Biram Diouf and Jermaine Jones back to the club next term.

The Manchester United forward and FC Schalke midfielder enjoyed solid spells at Ewood Park and manager Steve Kean has made it clear that the Lancashire club will go through the right protocol of having the duo back for the 2011/12 season.

"We have to respect the parent clubs," manager Steve Kean told BBC Radio Lancashire.

"When the lads came on loan we tried to fix prices straight away and we couldn't do that.

"Now the loan periods are up, we'll be in contact with those clubs and see if they are available first and foremost.

"And, if they are and we have got the funds to pursue, that is something we can take a view on."
