Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is hoping he will be available to take on Arsenal this coming weekend.
The 24-year old suffered a finger injury while training with Spain late last week which kept him out of Saturday's 3-0 Euro2016 qualifying win over Belarus.
The problem will also force De Gea to miss Tuesday's friendly with Germany but according to the Guardian, he plans to be fit for this coming weekend's trip to take on the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium.
De Gea, who could be replaced by Anders Lindegaard, will have to wait on a decision from United's medical staff before learning whether or not he will take on sixth-placed Arsenal in north London.
