Michael Carrick says he is likely to miss upcoming friendlies with the England national team.
The Manchester United midfielder managed to get through the full 90 minutes of Sunday's 1-0 win over Arsenal at Old Trafford but will now look to recover fully from an Achilles problem as the Three Lions get set to take on Chile and Germany on Friday and Tuesday respectively.
"I have been carrying the injury for a few weeks now," he told Sky Sports.
"I was a bit patched up to play today.
"I got through it but it doesn't look too good."
