Manchester United midfielder Anderson was dragged from his care before it burst into flames following an accident in Portugal on Sunday.
The 22-year old Brazilian was involved in the accident with two fellow passengers in Braga in the early hours of Sunday morning.
It has been reported that Anderson was 'lifeless' when he was dragged from the wreck before it exploded and is believed to have told his rescuers they saved his life.
Anderson's Audi R8 hit a wall before travelling a short distance in the air and into a field. All three passengers were taken to nearby St Mark's Hospital in Braga for treatment of concussion and shock.
