Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to rush back Cristiano Ronaldo for next weekend's clash with Chelsea.

Ronaldo had set a target of making his comeback in the game against Bolton on September 27 but has surprised himself with his powers of recovery.

He has stepped up his training during the last seven days and Fergie admitted last night: "I think he will be on the sub's bench against Chelsea."
