Manchester United have joined the interest for AZ Alkmaar superkid Adam Maher.

Arsenal and Manchester City have been following Maher this season, with their interest being confirmed earlier this week.

And now United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has the teen under consideration.

Ferguson is eyeing Maher as an alternative to Benfica star Nicolas Gaitan and Ajax's Christian Eriksen. AZ are asking £6 million for the youngster.
