Man Utd rival Arsenal for Bari defender Ranocchia

Manchester United are tracking Bari defender Andrea Ranocchia.

The Italy U21 international is on-loan at Bari from Genoa, whose president Enrico Preziosi has confirmed the interest of major European clubs.

United, Arsenal, Inter Milan and Juventus are all tracking Ranocchia leading up to the January market.

The defender only recently extended his contract with his parent club until the summer of 2013, but that has done little to curb speculation regarding his future.
