Manchester United are reviving their pursuit of Atletico Madrid defender Joao Miranda.
The Daily Star says Miranda has been fast-tracked to the top of Louis van Gaal's January transfer list.
The Brazilian international has been outstanding for Atleti since his arrival at the Vicente Calderon and played a key role in their La Liga success and Champions League final appearance last term.
United will reportedly make a £20million move for the centre-back although he has recently spoken of his happiness in Madrid.
