Manchester United representatives are set for face-to-face talks with Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo. The Daily Express says United officials are due to meet with Ronaldo and his representatives in the coming days to explore the possibility of bringing the former Red Devils star back to Old Trafford.
Despite Madrid president Florentino Perez's insistence that the 28-year-old will remain at the Bernabeu, reports in Spain indicate that the Portuguese superstar is set to hold talks with former club United.
While neither party is compelled to publicise such a meeting due to FIFA rules prohibiting players with official contracts to talk with other clubs, it is thought that unofficial discussions will occur within the next week.
PSG are reported to have offered to pay Ronaldo £225,000 per week to leave the Spanish capital for Paris, but United have the upper hand in that he would prefer a return to Manchester.
