Manchester United have recalled Ben Amos from his loan at Oldham Athletic.
Amos returns to United after Anders Lindegaard was forced to undergo a knee operation that will keep him out for five weeks.
The Denmark international joined United during the January transfer window and impressed in appearances in FA Cup wins over Southampton and Crawley Town, when he also showed he was not afraid to make his opinions known with some straightforward post-match comments.
It has now been confirmed Lindegaard will undergo knee surgery on Thursday that will keep him on the sidelines until the end of April.
