Man Utd, Real Madrid, Man City must wait for Bale until after golf trip

Gareth Bale is considering his options at Tottenham. Bale is becoming anxious over his future at White Hart Lane and it's unlikely the North London club will be able to hold onto their star player if they fail to secure a lucrative Champions League spot for a successive season.

Bale's in no rush to make a decision and has refused to be pressured into either a move or a new extension on his current deal at Spurs.

A source close to Bale told the Mirror: "After last season's disappointment of missing out on Europe, Gareth is frustrated by growing speculation over a potential transfer.

"He wants to be a Spurs legend but knows it is impossible to be considered among football's elite without playing on the biggest stage, which he can't do internationally."

The Spurs ace is a high priority target for Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona while both Manchester City and Manchester United have shown interest.

The insider continued: "Gareth has decided his best move would be take a break and consider his position while distancing himself from the situation.

"He's paid for four of his pals to join him on an exclusive golf holiday in Florida to play the Sawgrass course.

"And Gareth made it perfectly clear that no decision will be made until he returns to the UK after his trip."
