Manchester United are finalising terms with Crewe Alexandra for Nick Powell.
The Daily Mail says a £4million deal had been agreed between the two clubs, £2m of which will be paid up front, and that the last few details will be arranged before long.
Powell, an England Under 18 international, has been compared with Steven Gerrard after enjoying a breakthrough season in League Two.
