Man Utd to pull Vidic out of Serbia match

Manchester United can block Nemanja Vidic from playing for Serbia this weekend.

The United centre-back would miss Saturday's trip to Bolton under normal international regulations - that give countries the power to demand clubs release players.

Serbia's Euro qualifier with Kazakhstan was postponed on Saturday due to snow.

Yet as the rescheduled November 24 date was not officially set aside for international games, United can recall the defender.

It is an option boss Alex Ferguson looks almost certain to take up, with Bolton back to their more rugged approach under new boss Gary Megson.
