Man Utd pull back from push for Everton fullback Baines

Manchester United are pulling back from their pursuit of Everton fullback Leighton Baines.

The Daily Mail says while they have reservations about Patrice Evra, finding his replacement is not necessarily their top priority.

They have searched across Europe and have found flaws in most left-backs they have watched with Lyon's Aly Cissokho, Copenhagen's Bryan Oviedo, Atletico Madrid's Filipe Luis and Valencia's Jordi Alba among them.

Baines will not push to go and could well be still at Goodison Park come September.
