Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain are battling for Benfica winger Nico Gaitan.
French sources say both European giants are in contact with Benfica for the in-form midfielder.
Gaitan has been a long-term transfer target for Manchester United and Benfica could now be forced to sell the Argentine international in January after crashing out of the UEFA Champions League.
